Pilates
Pilates is a form of exercise that can be used to aid your rehabilitation or indeed to prevent injuries. Based on the work by Josef Pilates, the focus is on improving a central core of stability to enable the patient to alter abnormal patterns of movement.
It is not just low back pain that can be helped through Pilates. Below are just a selection;

- Pain in pregnancy, particularly symphysis pubis disorder
- Athletes who require balance training to a high level
